Default 86 lt250r rear shock length

hey guys im looking to find out how much shorter the 86lt250r shock is?and a honda 250r rear shock??? any buddy know?

thanks sam...i think im going to have to get hooked up with a stock lt250r shock...its great having an extra inch and half of travel but i want my seat height to be a little lower if you know what i mean.

Hey Nova, did the 250r shock help you out in travel, and ground clearance? Also did you have to modify your LT to make it fit?

Default 86 lt250r rear shock length

Get one from an 87-90 (I don't know if the 91-92 are the same). They have adjustable rebound which our 86's did not. The only thing is your going to have to mount the can on the side of the strut bar instead of on the back 'cause the hose is not long enough.
