Raced Yfz-450 WITH MY NOS
#1
Got my nos working good and my buddy just got his yfz-450 back from the shop and we went and drag raced as soon as he got back. Also i just got my hotcams installed and i am only about 2-3 quad leangths behind in in the 300ft+ with out the nos. Let me tell you how the race went. First off we raced on pavement and had a flagger to start us so we had no "you went first " . So i did the first run with out the nos was about 3 quad leangths behind. Then i turned the valve on the tank and was armed. Lined up 3 times more and used nos it was hard to keep the front down going threw all the gears while spraying, and smoked him by 6-7 quad leanghts in end . IT WAS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! My friend was so pissed. By the way he had airfiter and open air box along with the baffel out.

here comes the negative answer...NOS is bad for your motor. Hope you enjoyed your win...but after all the mods vs. his stock YFZ its kinda obvious that you'd win. Have him just put an exhaust on there and he'd prob dust you. My 2 cents. But congrats anyways.

it wasnt stock he had pro flow and k$n open airbox and baffel out. But i beat him so bad that no matter what modds he does he will never pull on me while using it . OF course its not going good for the engine ne one could tell ya that. But There has been alot of testing done with this company and scaring (damaging) is to a minimal. I ride my quad on the weekends and sometimes during the week so i dont use that much to begain with. So i am not worried about it. Also i talked to my mechanic and even if ne thing did happen its just a new piston and 2-4 hours of labor. But like i said the company has done tests on this type of system and damage is to a minimam. Its because its a fogger system vs. being injected right into the carb.
