Default z400 FMF Titanium 4 questions

Im gettin ready to buy a new exhaust on my z400, and ive decided on the FMF titanium 4 full system. But ive got a few questions. I was lookin at it on their website the other day and they had a list of like all different kinds of different lenghts in the muffler, and i was wondering what one was just the standard muffler? i want the one they had in the March 2003 Dirtwheels shootout. Also on the website it says "FMF Titanium 4 mufflers must be used in conjuction with FMF mid pipe". So would i still need a mid pipe if i bought an FMF powerbomb header along with my Ti4?

Get the Factory 4SL instead, along with the PowerBomb. It is a more advanced Ti-4, and it doesn't need the mid pipe. (I know the web site calls it the Titamiun 4SL, but when you get it, it will be a Factory 4.......just got one for the 450R!). I ordered mine direct off the FMF website, and they didn't give any choices of different lengths, but it is best to go with the longer AMA legal 17" length anyway. When mounted, it doesn't quite stick out beyond the grab bar.

What you get is a wide open muffler, with a turned down end cap. You will need to order a spark arrestor, quietcore, AMA quiet insert, or smaller end caps seperately, if you need any of those. Note that the turned down end caps, don't work with the spark arrestor screen.

I also run a K&N with Outerwears, and vented airbox lid (this motor likes to breathe!) http://www.ehsracing.com/ The system makes awesome power, but it is awesome loud too, so get a quitecore if you need to!
