okay i have a rm80 and i am looking for some linkage parts, i found a guy on ebay who has some and he doenst know what year the bike is. i got the vin no.(JS1RD13A9D2102004) and typed it into google but i didnt know how to get the year from car fax. they had 1 match. can anyone help me please.

thats imposible. how did u come up with that. i saw it on ebay yesterday and it was far from brand new

 

Without actually breaking out a calender and counting, I would guess he came up with it as the 210th day of 2004 since it ends in 2102004.

 

On cars its the 10 digit of the VIN. Find out what that corresponds to and youve got your answer. I would imagine it is the same on a motorcycle/ATV.
