i have an 88 quadsport 230 bored 60 over,re sleeved,supertrapp header,ctpipe with suppertrapp discs
mikuni racing carb,re jetted for 300cc,hinson clutch basket discs etc,new valve,springs problay a couple more mods i cant remember the top speed is 70mph on a flat grass field on th road maybe 75,80

Hard to believe any 230 can run 80mph. What kind of gearing/tire size? Any idea on the displacement?

 

were ugot all the parts at were they from different bikes

 

i got the header from my local shop,the ct pipe from a yfz 450,my motor work done by local shop and racing carb from denniskirk.com the clutch from ctracing

 

displacement is 267 tire size 22-11-9 i do believe it is 10-42 im not 4 sure

 

did u have to make any mods to the slip on is the header pipe an lts get some pic

 

The gearing can't be anywhere near 10-42. I ran 13-39 for a while, and it wan't anywhere near 70.

 

the slip on was a 3inch hole i put a reducer on to go from 3 to 1inch as for the sprockets i will check today

 

the package said 15-32

 

Why the Yfz pipe, was it free? With gearing that super tall it's gotta only be good for the fields, and roads.
