Probably not getting instant feedback on this question is because it is asked all of the time and people are sick of answering the same question.....also if you ever have a question and need quick advice, put the topic in the seach area for the section, and it will come up....usually if you think it, someone else has already asked it.... but...

the z400 is a great mid range bike....it is pretty much the all around sport quad, "good" at most everything....

top speed is around 68-70mph.....

The Honda 450r is a faster bike all around....and the Banshee is also a faster bike.....

....I have a z400 and I love it....never rode the 450's but I have not grown tired of my z yet....

Are you talking about acceleraton or over all top speed? You could probably get it to go faster by changing the sprockets but then you would loose the acceleration.

The Banshee and 450R are both faster but the Z is a lot better overall bike I feel. I haven't ridden a 450R but from what i've read it's not as good of an all around machine as the Z, and it doesn't have reverse. The Banshee is just good in the sand or on a dragstrip, I rode one on a trail and I was either bogging or spinning and it didn't handle that great either. I guess it just depends on what type of riding you're doing. But I sure love my DVX, I mostly trail ride with the occasional trip to the MX track and dragstrip. It's very versatile.
