i have no spark? i redid all connections, ran fine the other day and today nothing? my buddy tapped on the cdi box and it ran then died again and no spark. this leaves me to believe it's the cdi. is that what it sounds like? any way to test it with either a volt or ohm meter?

i'm embarrassed to say!! i had the connections from the cdi and magneto wrapped in tape to keep them clean, and they weren't even connected... sabotage i say!

Last time I did something similar was changing rims on my car.. I bought a set of used 17" rims/tires for my Eclipse, and I took it home to change it from the stock rims.. Well anyway, I jacked up the car, put it on blocks, and realized, I need the car on the ground first to loosen up all the lug nuts... Well, my dumbass had to jack the car back up, take out the jackstands to lower the car to the ground, and loosen up all the lug nuts.

What a waste of 15 minutes of my life. lol.
