I painted my QUAD!!!
#1
I was at checker auto and i saw this Dupli Color metalcast paint. So i was looking at all the colors, and i ended up painting it metalic BLUE, with a metalic silver reflective ground coat. I havent painted the last coat yet, i will do that tonight, but as soon as i finish i will post some pics. i cna tell you now, it looks sweet. My color sceme on my quad goes like this: Yellow Fenders, (all 4), Blue front radiator grill, Blue seat, and metalic blue frame. I hop eto paint the engine sometime, maybe a diff metalic color. But it will look sweet. Give me some feed bak. I will have some pics in a day or so!!! awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing the pics. Did you have to do any sanding or anything before painting?? How well did the paint stick to the plastic? And did you have to primer it??
Post those damn pics!! haha. J/K
I want to see it.

well, you guys kind of have the wrong picture. I ONLY PAINTED THE FRAME. it would be to much work to paint the motor. I will do that in the future. But it looks nice, i finished it a couple of nights ago, it still needs some minor touch-ups, but not toooo shabby^ ^
Anyway, you cant paint plastic, if you want your plastics to look nicher all you have to do is sand them. There color is there all the way through.
But, no i didnt have to sand anything. I got a silver ground coat, painted the frame, and 2 days la8er, i painted it metalic blue. LOOKS GOOD>>>><<<<
I would have got my pics earlier, but for the past like 4 days, here i colorado, almost every city had Tornado warrnings and softball size hail/// So there is no way in heck i am going out side. I will have them up soon. When i get them up i will post a new thread...

I saw a tornado come down and come bak up, it was pretty tight....
