My friend was messing with my Z400...

The breather hose near the airbox...the top part was in place but the bottom was just sitting there.

Where do I plug it into? Thanks

its probably just a breather hose. it should go inbetween the swing arm and shock to drain.

 

if your talking about the hose that is around 1/2" in size and about 1 foot long
it goes between the air tube (between the air box and carb) and goes
down to a breather box by the rear brake master cylinder
its like a pcv system on a car
it vents the crankcase of the engine back into the intake
emission crap

I went to the dealer and looked at a new one.

The tube goes right to the carb...

I put it there anyways because it made sense...and I was right.

You were unclear, as I understood it, mucky was corrent, if it connected to your air box, it would be the crankcase vent.
