Default Quadzilla lt500 cylinder repair

Im looking for a place to have my cyl. ear welded and beefed up, but i want feed back from people who have had it done and not crack again? i will be resleeving it at the same time.

DO IT YOURSELF!! You can buy a product called ALUMALOY at your local TRACTOR SUPLY .Easy to use ,and you don't have to be a welder to use it.All you need is the product and a Butane Torch.I used it on my new "V" Force cage.It can also be machined and fileable.Tensil Strength of 39,000lbs.

Default Quadzilla lt500 cylinder repair

I had mine welded since it cracked clear through into the one of the intake ports. There is some stuff like what it mentioned above called PYRO PUTTY. It works awsome. Its machineable and is good to 1400 degrees F. I used it to fill a pocket between the cylinder sleeve and the jug at the head end. (that sounds kinda kinky lol)
