How does the z400 react to cams?
#11
this is just a little off topic, but how hard is it to put both the intake and exhaust cam in, is it something i could do in my garage, or would i have to take it to the dealer, and what would it cost me for a dealer to put it in if i have to take it to them

If you really want it all the best thing you can do is seriously up the compression as that will not only increase the torque for bottom end power but also across the rpm range as well.
This works for any internal combustion engine so not just he z400, but like most mods that work well they come at a price and with their issues. The biggest things with higher comp is HEAT and keeping all the comp inside the cylinder and not leaking thru the head gasket. Do some research on what others have had to do to battle the added heat and pressure etc and go have some fun.
