Aftermarket LT frames are very few and far between which kinda lets the seller name his price.
Is it better to just get a 250r? Probably. I don't think you will get the amount of money you're asking for your LT. Not because you didn't invest that much or more in it, but because there are so many out there for much less (although they may be nowhere near the condition your's is in). Someone who wants to race MX and has 4 G's to spend is most likely going to buy a honda 'cause they own the aftermarket. If that JP frame needs a honda front and rear end, you gotta buy that too. With the new rules excluding 2 strokes, you see alot of decked out 250r's on ebay.

u really think 3700 is too much for my quad? i really couldn't see go lower than 3500. if i did that, man i would take a beating. i'm weighing my options though. i could do the aftermarket jp frame and part out the rest of my quad, go long travel front end and big bore with my exsisting quad, or just sell it.

800,
I don't think that $3700 is too much but unfortunately, the market is not paying that. I have seen decked out lt's (similar to yours) go for $2500. You would probably get more for it if you parted it out. If you do let me know, I need a few things. lol

if it doesn't go as one piece, then i'm gonna keep it. i mean i like it. it handles great and flies great, but i guess i want a aftermarket framed long travel quad.

HSD might makes an upper shock relocation bracket for your frame. I know he makes one for the 85-86 so you can use 15" shocks instead of 12 1/2". I think he makes a bracket that will allow you to run 16 1/2" shocks on your frame instead of 15".
