Default Z400 prob

I ran into a similar problem yesterday while riding my four wheeler, it would backfire and hesitate somtimes during acceleration and idle. We cleaned out the main jet and pilot jet, did notice there was lots of dirt in the bottom of the carb bowl, next item im getting is an inline fuel filter and would advise all you guys who don`t have one get one now(what was suzuki thinking?). But the guys who was helping couldn`t belive I was running a 130 main jet they know that bike is detuned now.

rode for about 4 hrs today and didn't have a single prob.....so i think the dirt that got into the fuel valve adjuster was what did it.

tell me about it.....just glad its back and running again.....seems to another thing with suzuki taking a cheap out and only using 2 screws instead of 4 that the back part of the plate has, plus the seal inside there is so thin u can barely notice it.
