Default Z400 prob

i took my Z400 out today for a ride and about the end of the ride it starting cutting out and stalling.....i took the plug out and checked it and it looked like it was time to change it so i put a new one and it ran for about 20 more min then started doing the same thing.....so i switched the fuel over to prime to see if it would run and it was fine so i drove it back to the truck.....now it will only start and run in prime when the motor is warmed up.....will start with the fuel switch in the on position.

n e suggestions?

i donno but my eiger does this too so it must be a blockage in the gas tank or main jet, i turn it to prime and turn the choke on to make it home but it hasen't done it for a long time so i am not concerned anymore

yeah....i can't wait to start modding mine

so far its just a rack and skids

but ive ordered the FMF Power Core 4 full system with K&N intake and full rejet kit
and im gonna pick up some new heel gaurds and the IMS pegs

also prolly gonna go with a high comp piston and maybe even step up to the 440 kit....i need something reliable though so im not sure about boring it out yet

im hoping its gonna be an easy fix....i will find out in a few hrs when i start tearing into it

i cleaned the tank, carb and all the hoses plus cleaned out the swtich for the fuel and it was hella dirty in there.....so i made a cover for it cuz it seemed thats where the dirt was entering and clogging it up.....rode it around for a bit and it ran fine.....gonna go hit the trails now and see how she does......but initial ride was excellent
