Hyabusa Manual Cam Chain Tensioner Anyone Have A, problams? pros? cons?

Hi, i have one in my garage I am wondering if I should put it on or not, I hear a slight tick which I think is coming fromt eh cam chain. I just don't want any headache caused by putting this on. Thanks
P.S what do i have to take off to put this on? anything in teh way? It is a 03 ltz 400 suzuki

If your motor is the same as the DRZ400 it is a very good thing. Go to www.thumpertalk.com and go to the DRZ400 forums, more than you will ever want to know about that engine etc.

You know if i wouldnt of seen this topic i doubt any one would of chimed in. I have that cam chain tensioner on mine. No problems, and whats nice is you can tell where your at inregards to the timming chain. But, dont think this new tensioner is going to solve any thing because its your timming chain that is stretched. the noise is only going to get worse. Do your self a favor and replace the chain. 03 models came with weak timing chains and in 04 they addressed the problem with a new stronger chain. Just got done going threw the same thing.
