I have just purchased a new 04' Z400. I have been out of the quad scene for awhile and do not know where to begin. This seems to be the spot.

My questions are: what do some of you recommend for a full exhaust system? I would prefer to buy a complete kit (exhaust, filter, and jet kit). What do you recommend and from where should I buy it. Who has good prices on this stuff.

What other mods do you recommend.

p.s. I still have to break it in so it will be awhile till I do anything. I mostly ride trails and some mx.

 

I would recommend the full HMF for your bike. I would also change the gearing if you want a good bottom end for mx racing.

I see you have a 15 tooth front sprocket, is that what you would recommend. Keep in mind that I weigh about 225lbs.

Are you happy with your other mods?
