Default lt 160?

I didn't like the pull start and found the front end really loose ( mine was bought used, so maybe somehow the previous owner did something to make it loose, altho it was an 8 y/o girl). I also didn't like the way it handled water crossings. easily took on water compared to our Raptor 80 and would stall, then I'd have to drain carb. otherwise, great Honda 4-stroke reliability, and 4-speed tranny had tons of speed.

Default lt 160?

I think we'll be getting the trx 90. I'll keep the 50 for two smaller kids who aren't quite able to ride by themselves yet. I was wondering if anyone has tried the ct racing hop ups on their lt50 and how it performs. I read an article about the 80 and they seemed quite impressed, but then again they have to keep their sponsors. thanks again for all the help.

if you are going for a 90cc why not try the eton 90r with rev. they are second in the us for sales that must say something for them.

Eton is cheaper by quite abit but you get what you pay for. The lt 50's problem isn't as much in the motor as it is the single speed tranny. Don't waste your money on the pipe all it does is make it louder.

Default lt 160?

I'm looking to replace my LT 160 frony shocks. Does anyone know the length of the stock shocks? So, I can look for a comparable off-brand, that might fit the LT160. Thanks

Default lt 160?

My little brothers both ride my old 160. My 13 year old brother has no problem handling it at all, but my 8 year old brother makes me a little bit nervous on it. So far he hasn't had any problems, but when I am following him down a trail, the quad is controlling him as much as he is controlling the quad. Also, if he ever rolled it, there would be no way he could flip it off of him, so I in my opinion, I think a 160 might be a little too big for your son. Maybe a few years down the road it will be the right quad for him.

If you are saying like i see it you said you get what you pay for? Then tell me why eton is actually # 1 in sales in the youth market. That tells alot about eton since they have been around for 9 years.

Bombman you are a carbon copy poster. Check out all the threads on the kids forum and you will see quite a few for eton, to bad it is almost always for a problem. By the way where is your dealership located?
