My z400 is my first sport quad. I think it is great . The comfort level is great. the reverse makes it even better. And there is defenately enough power there. Omce you put a pipe on it amnd retune it you will notice alot of power. I love the HMF full system.

there is things i love about mine.....like reverse....its very comfortable, great handling

downside.....i keep having this prob where its eitehr getting water or air somewhere its not supposed to be cuz the thing runs like crap....took it tot he dealer showed them the prob they look it over and can't find a thing wrong

overall i think i prolly wouldn't buy a suzuki again though......having a brand new bike and having probs with it just really turned me off and makes me wish i would have kept my old bike or stayed with the same brand when i got a new one

I ride a scrambler most the time but I also get considerable seat time on or Z-400. IMO there isn't really a comparison between the 2 the Z is much more comfortable to just hop on and ride. The handling is a night and day difference, you don't realize what a tank the scramblers are until you ride a real sport quad. the ride is much smoother on the Z and it will not wear you out trying to manhandle it like you have to with the scram. I can't really say anything about reliability because both bikes have been flawless.
