curious as to how it makes hte engine run very rich when all the prime does is sent fuel straight to the carb?

the carb and jetting are still regulating how much fuel is being fed to the engine....its just coming out of the gas tank directly.....just the same as if i had a manual petcock on the bike wth on, off, reserve


my buddy did check the idle screw and he said it seemed good to him, he works on bikes alot so i think he would have a pretty good idea

yes it will....and i went ahead and ordered one.....im sick of dealing iwth it, plus all the dealers in the area said its like a 2 week wait to get a new stock petcock.....and there is no gaurantee the new one won't end up screwing up too

Check the spark plug because where it is located it gets wet and will not work as good.

 

i have had it in the past get full of mud and then it will stop work and then work again.

 

You might check the valves also.............
