raptor 350= 18hp
z400= 30hp respectivly
raptor 660**= 34hp respectivly

raptor 350 is great as a begginer to intermediate quad. the z400 is great as as intermediate to expert quad. the raptor is better for taller, heavier riders. raptor is alot of torque, but its a bit high with a lite front end. the z400 has matchable power, prob not as much torque as the long stroke sohc raptor, but is lower and more stable. both have a plethora of aftermarket mods. check out doug gusts z450.

 

if you didnt notice, it wasnt a stock z400, they have a Z440. and a Z440 is pretty darn fast

 

A Stock Z400 doesnt have 30hp, sorry buddy. more like 26hp-27hp. dont get carried away with the #'s. Since an LT250R has 31hp stock, and can whoop it everywhich way. I dont think anybody knows for sure what the stock
horsepower is for anything.
There used to be an old post on here that stated the
stock rear wheel horsepower for almost all the sport
quads.
That post stated 32 stock for the Z.

I think the z does have 31hp stock and the 400ex has 27 and if it isn't this i guarantee its real close to here.
