snow tires

need suggestion for snow tires
will be riding on some packed snow, powdery snow and sometimes there are icy conditions
would going to a 22" tire be good for snow and what aboiut width
only true snow tire i found so far was a maxxis and its 22x10x9 i believe

The Ohtsu pro wedge 22x10 sand/snow tires are great.I run them in the sand and you get traction with smoothness unlike hard paddled tires were they tend to bounce you around as if you were on a tractor when the sand or snow turns hard pack.
I have heard great things about them in the snow too.Another brand makes a similar tread pattern but I'm to lazy to search.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]
