Painting LT chassis and engine

Default Painting LT chassis and engine

What type of paint should i use and how should i apply it to the chassis and engine??

The best thing is to use a spray gun, not spray paint. use a high heat paint for the engine, but honestly it all depends on the finish you want to achieve. if you what to have the perfect finish and don't ride were it is going to get scratched up the first time you ride over something have a professional do it, they can make it look like the paint on cars, they can also do your plastics(make it look like metal not plastic.) if you just want to clean it up or freshen it just pull every thing off, tape of things you don't want paint getting in ie... exhaust and intake ports and go to town. remember high heat aplicble paint. good luck.

I used Rustoleum spray cans for my frame and A-arms......makes for a lot easier touch-up process when you get scratched up.

k thanks for the help. i just wanna repaint it to make it look better, nothing fancy, right now it has bunch of rust and stuff on it.
