Z 250
#1
Hey, My girlfriend is looking into getting a quad and i had a question about the z250. Can you just mash on the gas and click through the gears or do you have to let off before each shift?
Next: any comments or input on the z250? good overall or stay away from it?
thanks

Hey Hez, you have to let off the gas whn you shift on the z250 or else your quad won't be around for long. Also the z250 is a good all around quad. My friend has one and it his first quad and he likes it a lot. It has plenty of power for a 250 and has some mod which you can puty on if you need for power. Also it's a good beginners quad because it's easy to use and the shocks and handeling is great. Overall you will not be disapointed with this quad, but remember to let off the gas when you shift!

The friend V-unit was talkin about is mine...hes got it all right. To start off with you definalty have to let off the gas or else ur clucth will be ginded to the bone. The z250 was my first quad a year ago and still is becasue i like it so much. Its a great quad for all types of riddin and can handle alot more tha other 250s. It is really reliable and i havent had a problem with it yet. It is fast enough to keep up wit the big boysz.....and comfortable enough for ur girlfreind to like it. You can add plenty of aftermarket parts n the z also if u ever fell like you want more....LET OFF THE GAS!

Hez, i have drove the 250ex and have to say that it is a well set up quad and it is probably the most dependable sport quad on the market. If you are looking for more speed than go with the z250, it's faster than the 250ex. The handeling on it is the same thing as the z250 and the shocks on the 250ex are less up graded than the z250!! What are you or your girlfriend looking for.
