Kenda Klaws on Z400?
#1
I was thinking of getting some Kenda Klaws(stock size) on ITP T-9 rims for my quad. I read a few reviews on them and they sounded good. Does anyone have any expierence with these tires? If anyone does would you please let me know. Thanks.

I have BEAR CLAWS on my Z400. I dont think they make stock size. I got 10" rims and bigger tires than stock.
I can tell you, they are better in the mud and rough terrain. The Z400 isnt the best in deep mud, though, no matter what tires you have
The Bearclaws gave me more clearance in the back by alot and they are wider too. Now the back is as wide, maybe wider than the front.
I like em.

I have a set of Klaws on my LT250r. I have got the 22x11x10 XCR (the 6 ply version). They are an excellent tire for the money. I am quite happy with them. They will slide well around corners and all you have to do is throw a bit of wieght back and theyll dig right in a propel you forward. They have been on the machine since the spring and they are wearing quite well also.
The one small problem is that the fact that they are 6 ply makes them a little harsh. I wanted the puncture resistnace that 6 ply offers because of the rocky terrain on some of the trails I ride so its of my own choosing. They make a 2 ply model that would probably eliminate that.

They are a little harsh...
Not that bad on trail but if you get on a road or flat area it is like riding on paddles.
I was racing up my street on day and the machine was really shaking...not as smooth as the stock tires but that is to be expected.
On the trail they are fine...but you do notice how heavy they are.
