i dont think there will be a z450 until mayb 2006 or 2007. The z400 is one of the best out there. not many quads can beat it. they arent gonna make a z450 until the z400 is getting beat bad. alot of people just get the yoshi 450 kit. soi odnt think we will see a z450 unless hondas 450 and yamahs get better and other companyes make more and the z400 is getting beat. just my opinion

yeah but remember, when you upgrade an engine that much not only is it expensice, its also goes down in reliability. as i recall i think doug gust and his team were changing 2 or 3 engines every 2 races just to make sure it would not hand gernade on them. the everyday rider isn't buying more than one engine. also, if they have a z450 engine on tap........ why not use it?

 

true he does have 10 of them for sale that i saw on his wbsite or somthing. and yes you are right but they need to see how the 450 engine works before they release it and htey arent gonna release it till the z400 is gettin beat.

 

I just read in ATV RIDER that Doug Gust and Jeremiah Jones will ride the 1st half of the season on the YOSHI 450's and switch to the new Z450 for the 2nd half..........

 

was that in october or november's issue?
