ok guys my best friend has a jetting problem with his zuki. What jets should he have for a bike with following mods: Stg.1 Hotcams, Highercomp head gasket. Eseries pipe, w/ fmf power bomb headpipe, rev box. he really wants to beat my raptor and needs to know if he is jetted correctly.

 

I would say the easiest thing to do would be for you to let off of the throttle and let him win.I'm not sure he has the right combination of parts.I would suggest that he go with the stage 2 cams and a bigger carb with the parts he has.Is this a top end battle?

 

ya its from a dig to 5th. basically i beat him by like 10 bike legths when i had just my pipe, and he is wondering if his jetting is really off, or does the z400 really leave that much on the table opposed to the rap? also, could you reccomend some better combos for him if you dont think what he has is great.

 

I have no problems with Rappy's.
The only Rappy that has beaten me is one that had a big bore kit.

 

LOL StangGTMx stfu don't tell me your stupid thoughts.I have draged many guys in there 30's on there Rappy's.Two of them even had extended swing arms with pipe rejet etc.Beat them by about a bike length.They get me in top end sence I regeared if were were to drag down a road but the strip we ran there wasn't enough room for them to catch me.
I even switched rides with one guy and I couldn't catch my orange tinker toy.

 

i donot belive one word of that. mt buddy's rap and consistantly beat my other bud's Z400 by over 6 bike lengths in under 300ft. both are bone stock. and looking at your mods, i dont think you could keep up with a piped raptor

 

im with zillarider, i have never been beat by a suzuki with my piped raptor, the only time a Z has beaten me is with a 440 kit. and u donl't have a 440 so it's just bs.

 

A Z can barely beat a 400EX, how can it beat a Raptor? I can trade victories all day long with Zs but I have NEVER beaten a Raptor.

 

ok, can we get back to the jetting? what should he be running, in your opinion?
