Default King Quad or Brute Force?????????????

CHAINMAN,
SORRY ABOUT THAT. I meant FENDERBENDERWILLY please send me your reply again if you would.

CHAINMAN, thanks a lot for your GREAT information. You were a lot of help. What you mentioned are very important points.

My sprayer is 25 gallons but I run 28 or so in it AND sometimes it sets on a quad 1/2 full or so for a long period of time. When I use to have it on my Yamaha Griz 600 it really "squatted". Not sure if it was good for it either.....
Maybe I should stay with a solid axle.....???

I run through "rushes" meaning slough/swamp areas. Not too much wet stuff anymore as things are drying up
here after a long wet season but I do have to get through the thick rushes. The Prairie 650 worked well for that-
no problems at all.

Also, I have run my 650 over a lot of log jams and brush piles in Canada last November and it took it all. I was very impressed with how tough it is underneath. I sure don't want to get a quad that will tear things all to heck
easily as I do drive over logs and branches in Canada every November. I really like how well protected the underneath is on the 650.

The first thing I noticed with teh Brute Force other than the size is how unprotected the radiator is. There is hardly anything covering it. This is a big concern for me. You say the King Quad is the same way???????????

Thanks again for all your help Chainman and you take care. You have really opened my eyes......Thanks to all you guys for your help!
Bigjohn

Free advice is worth what you pay for it. Hopefully you can get some different ideas on things and it will help you make a decision.

I don't think there's any one quad that is the best for everything, I just decided on a King Quad, I think/hope the IRS will work well for me. You're sprayer has got to be close to 200 pounds right on the rear rack, that's a pretty good load.

IRS is generally not as solid for hauling weight. You can do it but, it will affect your stability. I wonder how well you could haul a deer out with it.

Have you thought about a P700? Just a stronger version of what you have. Put some bigger-than-stock tires and you will do pretty well in clearance to.
