Default why are SRA owners so bitter against IRS

some sra owners got a real problem with irs . they bash it to hell.why?sounds like some jealousy or something.why cant everyone respect what others own.even if its not what YOU like.let us irs owners enjoy what we got .even if its different than what you prefer us to have.if you have irs or sra your still gonna have fun .isnt that what this stuff is all about.also the poor king quad is very critised.it didnt even get a fair chance yet.maybe its so critised because of its name KINGQUAD.thats kinda saying its the king of all quads.maybe thats why all the contoversy.what do you all think?

I love independent suspension. The ride, ground clearance, and traction are awesome. If i had a utility quad it would have IRS. My dad has a Honda Rancher and hates IRS, i guess it's just personal preference.

Its not really personal preference as much as personal use. SRA is better in some conditions, IRS in others. Neither is perfect and both have significant tradeoffs.

I think the issue with some of the SRA guys is that many people go around claiming that because one atv has irs and the other doesnt the one with irs is a better machine. This is very common in all of these comparison threads so its easy to see how someone can build up a grudge fairly quickly.

You just need to take each on its merits and decide what is best for you and leave other people to thier own opinions and needs.

I respect IRS quads, they can give us a better ride on a straight bumpy road and more ground clearance in the mud. I personally prefer SRA because it feels more solid and it gives me a sportier ride, but that is my personal opinion. As for the King Quad, it was introduce as being the best thing happening to us. Unbelievable power and handling, videos showing us how agile it was and it was going to have the strongest and most balanced engine out there. Well, I guess people didn't get what they were promised. Don't get me wrong the King Quad is a great IRS quad that handles well, but it isn't the strongest, smoothest revving engine and the best handling quad out there like it was supposed to be.

I have no pr. w/ IRS in certain situations. I rode a B.F. and it got squirrelly(sp) on jumps-bounced sideways. A certain friend of mine in the ATV mag. business rode the KQ the other day and said it was awesome. Power out the a$$. Those of us that ride our 4x's in a more sporting manner, like the SRA for the "slide-ability". Less roll, if you will. I've also ridden a Rincon, and am impressed, but still prefer SRA. As my body wears down w/ age, I'm sure I'll go for the comfort of IRS-I AM NEVER GOING TO QUIT RIDING!!! But, until someone make a SPORT-sprung IRS, I'll stick to SRA.
