Default My 100 mile KQ report

The KQ is stabile up to a point. If pushed, or in a off camber terrein, it will tip. Another thing that is driving me nuts is the hesitation when you nail it. I'm used to instant throttle response and the KQ is not giving that to me. I like hitting the gas and feeling the rush, but right now I'm not. One more thing, these CHEAP plastic pin holders, or whatever there called. Other then that, it's been a good quad. But I feel it hasn't lived up to the hype yet. Maybe with more break-in time it will be better.

I'm sure there will be some kind of power chip for the EFI eventually.

any bike will tip on an the right off camber.i heard that some company is coming out with an aftermarket shock for the kq thats supposed to do wonders for the handling even in off camber situations.some say the stock shocks are a bit too soft even on the stiffest settings.this new shock is supposed to take care of all of that.and even provide a more comforting ride.

I hope it's not Elka. While they do undoubtedly build an awesome shock, they are HIGH-PRICED. I would love for it to come from Progressive or Works who have been building great shocks for awhile too, but at a bit better price for the average rider.

i am pretty sure the lag that everyone is talking about and that i have witnessed isnt the clutches....it seems to be an electronic lag...as in the efi computer is l.d. or something
and i am sure a chip will get rid of it pretty much....its probably some sort of "retard" thrown in the programing to keep newbies from killing themselves and keeping zuki out lawsuits....
