OK,
This has not only happened to me currently on eBay but I have heard of it happening to other people as well.

wow dude, did u call the authorities, everything can me traced now, they can trace the computer IP and go from there

 

Yea my quad was on there about a month ago so i just put a maxium bid of 100,000 dollars so know one would end up getting scammed. I contacted ebay but they seemed to care less and the same guy is still scamming people.

 

Ebay usually shuts down the auction or the username. The person makes a new name and they do it again. It isnt worth it to ebay to delve any farther into this issue.

So get used to it. As long as people keep sending money out these scammers will keep stealing pix and posting fake auctions.

 

it seems these guys are stealing pics from users on the forum that have mutiple angles of their machine when it is all clean and pretty where it gives the impression to people that it is actually trying to be sold. If we took down the mutiple angles of our quads maybe they wont rip so many pics off this forum and its members.

Mine was in the ATV trader, it ended up selling 4 times [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
I contacted him acting like a customer asking if I would be getting the pictured quad and once he replied yes I informed him that it was already mine. He replied asking me if I wanted to make a couple grand a month. I played e-mail tag with him for about a week then called the trader and they directed me to the FBI whom I forwarded all the e-mails to. They infomed me a couple of months later that they cought the money handler here in the U.S. but he was only taking a cut. Haven't heard much since and its been almost a year.

 

Way to go my friend!! If more people like you would take action we could make life much more difficult for these scum.

 

people need to start kicking butt and taking names
life would be much more easy without these trashy people
