hey guys i wanna sell my paintball stuff on ebay if any of you are interested its a tippmann 98 custom and a redz harness.

but i have a question because i never sold anything on ebay before. how do i pay ebay the % that they take out? is it just billed on the credit card? also i dont understand the thing with the checking account thing after you fill out the credit card information

 

u need to enter social, or checking account info to make sure its you, but thats why i havent sold anything on ebay.

 

When you setup your account, just set up a Paypal account at the same time. After you get your money you pay E-Bay right through paypal(E-Bay owns Paypal)

eBay will charge you twice on a listing:

1) the listing fee - variable, depends on what you are listing, and how much your opening bid is. For autos/cycles/atv's, their is a flat $30 fee to list + any optional stuff like extra pics, supersized photos, etc.

2) the final value fee - a percentage of the final price you attained during the auction. You will not be charged a FV fee if the item doesn't sell.....but the listing fee stays.

The fees listed above will be charged to your eBay account, and when they come due, eBay will debit your checking account for that amount, or they will charge your CC.

 

The $30 listings are for a whole bike. Parts auctions are much cheaper. The correct listing for the paintball stuff wouldn't be all that much.
