The 250 would take the 230 with all other things being equal. 20 more cc's and a better flowing head.

the 250s is a lot uglyer than the 230 and it has that hammerhead seat that is ugly as he!!.
the two motors are almost identical. are the heads interchangeable if so that would be a good bore over for the 230

The heads are different, the cylinders may be the same. Probably not. You can get larger sleeves for the 230 anyways.

as far as the 230s and the 250s is concerned, the top ends are interchangeable, you can bolt a 250s cylinder and head to a 230s bottom end

so that means instead of worrying how far u can go it the 230 head u can slap on the 250s head and get a bigger bore right? or is the piston size gonna be a problem. does both motors fit in either bodies? is the swingarm the same?

The head never really gets bigger, the cylinder does Last I knew LA sleeve made a larger bore press in sleeve. I wonder if the headpipe is different. I don't think they list a 230 pipe as fitting the 250. Veserah sells fibers for the 230. You may be able to get slightly stiffer springs.
