Well, I'm of the opinion that your "stumble" is a "safety" feature and not something that will be seen as a defect or be changed anytime soon.
When I think first year flaws I think Yamaha, the problems with the Raptor tranny, Grizz gas boiling and drive shafts.
I'm pretty disapointed with Kawasaki's latest effort, the BF seems to be plagued with first year flaws, I almost bought a BF, glad I didn't. The Prairie 650 was awesome, I remember some problems with the choke spring or something but that was fixed right a way.
Polaris... ...you can't really call it first year flaws because they don't really ever fix them, how many fuel pumps have to fail on the twins before they decide to upgrade them? Pinched spark plug wires, just lots of stupid stuff that shouldn't happen.
Rincons have seals in the tranny go bad.
The Vinson had problems with exhaust shielding and the shifter, Eigers had a crankshaft bollt that came loose. The KingQuad??? Hopefully it will be problem free!
How do you like the Mudlights? How much power did you loose?

king 700,
What size 26's did you put on the front and back?
What size rims did you use front and back (width)?
I have a king quad 700 and was considering putting some 26" tires on it, but didn't know if I shoud stick with the stock rims or not. I know that if you change to aftermarket rims, the offset is sometimes different.
One more question, how wide is the bike in the rear (from outside tire-to-tire)? Does is exceed 50"? The stock measurement is 46" at the rear tires. The reason I need to know is I'm buying a trailer, and I want to make sure the bike will fit in with larger tires.
Thanks.

i put 26 x12x12 in the rear..and 12 x10x12 in the front..and i bought rims for a vinson ..the off set is sweet...the quad is really really wide in the back..i think its like 4 inches wider in the rear than stock..looks awsome..and no issues in the woods..
