mine is in perfect shape, runs awesome.... i have had it for a long time, and has been the best running quad i have seen, starts in 2 kicks, the blaster is also in awesome shape.. to tell you the truth, i really dont care anymore which one is fasterf between my bro and me, we are not going to be racing them, just to goout riding every weekend, they both have anough power to knock you on ur a$$

Well just line them up and run them a few times and see waht they will do... Rider has a lot to do with it also as does other factors. My brother's roommate stroked his banshee and it is putting 60 hp to the ground and he gets out run by bikes that put low 50's to the ground because he has a problem with a stiff clutch...

the 86 didnt have a power valve, only the 86 and up did..
well, me and my bro went out riding today, and we raced 5 times. i won 2 times out of the 5. he had an advantge on the blaster because they have fast acceleration and the dirt course was uneven and short, so i had a hard time lauching mine, he was a bout a half a length in front of me at the start of the race, and then at the top of 2nd gear i started to pull on him, almost all the races were close to a tie. if i would have had an extra 20 ft., i would have won every race..... o well... they are close bikes, although mine is a little faster...

I am talking so stiff that it keeps him from shifting properly, not snappy... Stiff as in something is wrong with it. That is the next thing on his list besides bigger carbs.
