Blaster vs. Lt250r
my brother just got a new blaster, it is a 89 Blaster 200.. all it has done to it is FMF fatty and powercore, new engine, and has been bored to .2..... My 86 Lt250r Quadracer has been bored to .08, has Boyesen reeds, and has Answer exhaust... so what would win....
86 Lt250r Quadracer vs. 89 Blaster 200? which would win?

hey strange GTM, it has nothing to do with cc's at this point.. if it is withing at least 50cc's.. they is a challange issue.....just because it is 50 less doesnt mean it is way slower.....you have to take into consideration of the gears, and things done to it.... anywayz, so a majority of the ppl that read this think that the quadracer is faster eh..... .... need some mo ppll to reply... i have only ridden the blaster once, and i cant ride on it hard because the motor was rebuilt and it needs to be broken in... so i dont know if it will win....

my lil brother started this post, he knows a a lot bout quads to an extent, but let me tell you more bout this blaster that i got, it is bored .2 over stock specs, fmf gold seriers pipe with full exhaust, brand new shocks all the way around, brand new rebuilt engine , less than 15 mins on it, its a six speed...i have drove both and to me i feel as if i have more control in the dirt with the blaster than the lt250, and is there such a thing as a 1986 lt250r? my brother clamis there is but i cant find any specs on it, both bikes are 2 strokes, but on the lt it just wants to spin the tires all the way therw the rmp band....so i think once i get the blaster broken in it will be a good race

The lt250r should eat the blaster regardless of your mods.

You guys are overlooking what was said about the CONDITION of the LT... If it has many hours on it, is not jetted right, whatever, then a blaster can out run it. We are talking 2 strokes here! If they are both in good working order, or lets say that they are both in as new shape with those mods, (not to mention good tires) then the LT should have no problems...
