Any older model Quadrunner 500 owners here?

Hello All,
I bought a 1998 Quadrunner 500 new and it has served me well. The only thing that I've had done to it is replaced the bearing going into the rear end, and also replacing the front wheel bearings. I've abused it pretty good by hauling and dragging very heavy loads. It has truely amazed me more than once. I have put 3000 rough miles on it and it still runs strong, although it is getting harder and harder to shift. I runs as good as it did new. I guess my only complaint is that the brakes have squeaked since day one.
I bought my son a 2002 Honda 450 Foreman last month with 900 miles on it. I think i got a good deal on it for 3200 bucks. Its nice, but has nowhere near the power as my quadrunner. I dont think it rides or handles as good either. He loves it though and thats whats important. I must say the Foreman is a nice looking bike if nothing else.
I am seriously considering buying a new Suzuki next year. I haven't made any test rides yet. Can I expect the same good ride and torque from the Vinson? I am tired of shifting also. Will the auto tranny hold up to heavy hauling and pulling?
One last question. Is the new King Quad worth the extra money if 500 CCs is plenty of power for me?

I have a 2001 ltf500f and love it. All I have done is change the oil and tranny fluid. Get the weight from your manual and get synthetic oil, that made mine shift much more smoothly. My brakes have always squealed also. I have sprayed the pads with anti squeal compound with no luck. They have plenty of wear left but I have 1500 miles on them. I think I will l change them this winter. I know some vinson owners and they all love the machine. It has better suspension and power. I am planning on getting a new KQ this winter too, but as a second bike.
