vinson tires, need some advise.....or she might go
I am starting to get fed up of my vinson breaking parts, like 2 cv joints now
as you can see i have ditched the lift.......- holy cr@p the bike actually handle good now!!
now for the 26" tires- they will only bottom on extream impacts. my question is should i get rid of them_ actually not a question this is what i am gong to do.
NOW for my question
what are the best 25" trail tires.
i like the holeshot atr's and big horns, i want to get the best possible light weight combo i can, i am also going to be replaceing the wheels..
this time im looking for light ness, and handleing.
so far my next few mounths look like this as far as vinny goes
new tires
rejet it agian 3rd time
im gonna try a 38 pilot, and movin the clip on the needle, and cutting the lid on the air box for more air
and a 400ex
now as i further ask a question
my other option is too
NEVER jump, wheelie or beat it again, leave on lift kit, and big tires(what i want to do), and just use it as a pure utility bike, for the snow and mud.
being i am gettin a 400ex, to do all this and ultimately race it.

I've had good luck out of the 25" Mudlites! They kicked Hatfield/McCoy ***. A guy was running ITP Holeshot radials on his Kodiak. I was pretty impressed with their performance. BTW-I bottomed the **** out of the fr. shocks all weekend on the H/M trail system. We were running with the sport quads(and hanging with-if not out riding-most) all 3 days. Keep in mind I have a winch hanging up there-and am probably going to buy some Elkas from a friend of mine-if I don't buy the KQ. MAJOR BIG BORE RIDE!

elka doesnt make shocks and said they wouldnt either.
my approach to this is
i took my shock off and measure eye to eye.
next i am trolling ebay, for some axis, or elkas for a 400ex, 250r or raptor. setup for 20lbs more then i weigh. i am lookin at a set of tripple rate zps(the self saggin) rezzi, with compression, and rebound.
i took my lift of yesterday, but i really dont like how it looks, and i sure know it added more than 2" of lift, because it sits too low now for my likeing. i think i am going to replace my cv joint, and go from there
4xzuki- if you wouldnt mind takin a picture of your frount right cv joint and sending it to me it would be help ful
SO far suzuki tells me that they cant get me a cv joint, wtf!!! so i am looking to see if all the model are the same, because i can get 04/05s, and they are only 200 bucks apposed to 300.

About the Elkas-these were tested and raced a couple of times-on a Vinson. Trust me-they weren't made for the Vinson, but were the right length..............I'll get a shot of the CV posted in the morning. How ya been 581? I'm SERIOUSLY considering getting a KQ. Gonna keep the Vinnie though.
