I am 5ft 2in 105 pounds and 14 years old. I am thinking About getting a z400 do you think if I get one I will hurt myself on it? If I dump the clutch will I get hurt? If so what other quad do you think would be godd for jumping. My current quad is a polaris 400 sport 1998 2 stroke.

well you can hurt yourself on any quad. the z400 is a great quad i think you will enjoy it, also check into the 300ex and the raptor350 if the 400s are a bit intimidating to you. and like mucky said the 400ex is another great quad you should look at.
the yfz is supposed to be a great jumping quad but thats what ive read, not actually felt.

You are no doubt still growing??? The dilema is whether to get a bike you can "grow into", or a bike that is correctly sized for where you are now. Right now, you are the perfect size for a Blaster, 300EX, 250EX, etc. If you are an experienced rider you might be able to handle the 400, but I would say you are kind of light at 105 lbs., for that machine. I am 200 lbs., and I can't say that I can throw a 400 around like a toy!

My son is 14 and rides a 04 400ex. He has been riding awhile but a little bigger then you are. He is 6' and weighs about 215. The Honda is a nice fit for him right now. Two things I don't like about the Honda is the lack of reverse which the 05 has and it's air/oil cooled. That's asking a lot out of your oil in the desert. The Z400 is a much more modern quad with a more up to date engine. If you are mature enough to handle the quads both are nice. If I was buying one for myself it would be the Suzuki.
