anyone got a xr650 engine 4 sale? i wanna put one in my ex

 

im disapointed in what i ead... 38hp out of the 650.... well i guess that is what the raptor motor makes. im going to look up some performance parts and high comp pistons.

 

i put a dr750 in my 88 mojave ...yes a kawi....so it shouldnt be all that hard... thats why you use a dr750...55hp 70ft.lbs torque..stock...my mojave can pass a 400 ex with mods in second gear...never measured top speed yet but i had it doin 105 mph

 

the dr750 only dose 110mph in a dirtbike so i dout it will do 105 in a atv.

 

i read that the dr750 torque is 44 ft lbs

 

stock sprocket on motor....stock mojave back sprocket....24" tires...made gears really long....

 

my boss has a 86 lt250 with a 750 ninja motor
we were at the dunes for the weekend, he never got it out of 3rd gear
scared the hell out of me.

but how would a street bike engine ( Ninja ) do on trails or such...they have to be all top - end im guessing...i have only heard of street bike engines in quads for the dunes...but that dr750 engine sounds like a BEAST...

 

my friend has a 400ex with a pipe....uni filter...cam....jetted..and the only time he can stay with me is off the line for 100' or so...by the time hes wide open i'm only coming out of second gear....his stock acura integra cant catch me either until the tires i have on the back get so outta shape they look like they'll come off

 

man they got a dr800 as well but i think you can only get them in europe
