NEED TO CHANGE OIL AFTER HARD DAY OF MUDDIN?
#1
Hey all,
I spent 7 hours today on an amazing run with two buddies. They both have utility 4X4 machines (I honda 350, and a Atctic Cat 400<====They were pissed when I pulled away from both of them on the straights) and I of course have my ltz250. ANy way my little 250 went everywhere they went with their 4X4's today and I only had to be winched out once.
Anyway as we were pulled to the side of the trail having a smoke break my buddy says "Shane make sure after a day of mud and deep deep water like today, that you change the oil first thing" Now yes we were in deep deep water, I mean upto my tank at times, but is it really necessary to change my oil just cuss we were in water today??

well unless you got water in your oil which i doubt you did then there is no reason to change your oil . on that machine i would probally change the oil every 25-30 hours of use.just my thoughts i have been messing with quads for a while .
