Default DG Xccelerator install

How easy is it to install this slip on exhaust, I am not hugely mechanically inclined, but at the same time i know my way around tools.

Is it worth paying the dealership an hours labour to install it? (60 bucks Canadian?)

It is very very very easy to do, i have the dg stage one slip on for my z250. It is all self explanatory. all you do is unbolt the old one and replace with dg exhaust.

you dont have to remove any plastics [on z250] but i did. makes it a hell of a lot easier. all plastics just pop in and out without bolts. it made a small difference, and it makes it sound very good and loud.

Well as some of you know I have been waiting for my DG Xxcellerator slip on for 3 weeks now as it was on back order. I went to the dealership today to pick it up as today was suppose to be the day for it to arrive. Well, the parts guy told me that it was now not arriving until Nov 28/04. Man was I pissed off, I paid 380 bucks cash (canadian) for this thing when I ordered it 3 weeks ago. I told him to shove it up his ***, and I cancelled the order.

I asked him to get the book out and give me my options, I want to know what slip ons were available, but in stock so I could order it Today and receive in Monday. The only option was a white brothers pipe, it was an additional 212 dollars, but i payed him and he ordered it.

The silly thing is that I was so pissed off because of the original dg pipe not being in, and anxious to get a pipe, I dont even remember what model of white brothers pipe I ordered lol. All I know is it cost me a grand total of 601 dollars, so I am assuming it will rock, it f'ing better.

Oh well, I am sure it will be ok.

Do any of you have any history with white brothers exhaust?

Well my White Bros E2, came in yesterday, it is installed and I tell you man I love it, I am currently running it with stock end cap and spark arrestor in it, and man I would hate to hear this thing with it removed cus it is loud loud now. As far as performance, I am noticing the biggest difference in 2-3 rd gear.

I love it, and have no regrets

Dg xcclerator pipe kick a$$ big time, i love mine and even though it's on a lakota i still see a major difference no wonder why many top rider use the Dg xcclerator for their quads they rip. As fars as white bro's i like their e-series pipe but don't know to much about them so can say to much but never hear anything bad. Trinity racing or Yoshimura pipes you should have looked at to they are a top choice for the z250 along with DMC.
