Default Help with Ozark

I am 17 years old and I have a 2003 Suzuki Ozark. For the past month I have been trying to sell it because I want a z400 in the worst way. I have all the finances ready but I need to sell the Ozark for the down payment. I need to know how much to sell it for? It has a Pro-Circuit T-4 exhaust, brand new front brakes, and is in great condition. Oil changed after 4-5 tanks of gas along with oil filter. Custom black painted rims...lol i know they are of no value but they look cool. I also don't know how to tell people about it. So far I have had no calls and I have it in the local paper. Maybe I'm asking too much. I have it up for $2600, thinking i will be worked down to $2400, which is acceptable. I would actually be happy to get $2400 for it. Please help me.

Your price sounds in line so I would suggest:

1. Find another outlet to advertise it. Maybe your local clasifieds don't have too many people looking for quads - how about checking out a local clasified paper like cycle trader, auto trader etc. - one of those weekly classifieds that covers everything from autos to garage sales.

2. List it herre in the ATV Connection classifieds

3. Some dealers will take a bike in on consignment. There is a lot more exposure there and you'd have a good chance of still getting your $2,400 out of it.

#3 would be my first choice if you're trying to move it quickly.

Default Help with Ozark

Good luck. Ive had a 2003 ozark for sale, for two months, and only one call. And it was a scam to send it to africa,...they wanted to pay 10,000 if I shipped it. At least someone read the ad.
Anyway, I have 50 hours on it, and its just as good as new, and ive got hand warmers and a tach on it. Ive had it listed at 2300.
Doesnt seem like anyone is interested 2x4s right now.

Ur asking around the right price, it all depends where u live. I could sell my 2002 stock ozark for $2000-$2200 right now if i wanted. Where do you live at?

Sry saw that you lived in PA, i think people would want 4x4's up there, so it might be a little high but keep with and some one will eventually buy it.
