I was just wondering what type of gas mileage anyone with a new Kingquad was getting? I am getting around 80 miles to a tank as far as I can tell. Does this sound about right, or is anyone getting more or less?

It gets better as the motor breaks in, my first tank took me about 50 miles.

I have about 200 miles on mine. Remember slow speed riding, high speed riding, and riding in 4 wheel drive will all use alot of gas on any atv. 400catman, maybe these are the reasons your gas mileage is so poor?

I got about 90 miles on my first tank. Not bad for size of motor and just a beginning of break in.

My KQ has 50 miles on it, and it is just under 1/2 tank.

You can't really give an accurate MPG for a quad like you can for a car. Too many factors such as speed and terrain vary greatly to make a reliable number. Riding in snow or mud puts a great load on the engine and will burn up the fuel depending on how deep it is. On the rides that I have been on though, the King Quads has consistantly done better than the other big bores.
