About a week or so ago I said I had some info about the launch of the new Suzuki 450. Most people did not believe me, but that’s fine. I got some more info today.

The Suzuki dealers close to me received their maintenance and service manuals on the new 450 this week. They are awaiting stock at the moment. This bike will be here in the next month or so.

I will try and get a peak soon and update you guys.

This is for real.

I had two independent sources confirming the launch of this new quad. One is the dealers that received their manuals and the other is via another source, I am not going to reveal at this stage. I however have no idea when it will be launched in the USA or when you will be able to buy one. Indications are that it will be around December in my "area of the woods".

 

where do you live?

 

US machines will no doubt have emissions restrictions that you don't have! All machines have to meet new more stringent specs, by 06. May delay the release date over here???

 

I stay in South Africa.

The ATV's we have here are 100% the same as the USA versions.

 

ok so south africa, that doesnt mean anything then, being its not us soil. we could wait to 06 prolly. why dont you just drop the bomb and tell us where you are gettin you undisclosed info, be upfrount and let us know.

 

dude give it up i work for suzuki and there is no word at all about the z450 quad..and just to let you know we get the service books like 2 days before we get the new machine..my boss knows mel harris very well ..mel is the president of suzuki..i thing i would of heard something before you woulda..

 

I am not going to even argue with people on here. You either believe me or don't, your choice. If you think I am talking bull, then stop reading this post and wait and see when it gets to the showroom floor. I'll try and get a picture of this quad from the service manual or my other source.

The reason why I do not want to reveal my other source is because they can loose money if this comes out and Suzuki will know who leaked it.

 

Why would suzuki want to keep it a secret? They didn't with the KQ. It would be to their advantage to release this information as soon as possible.

I am sure that they are working on one, but releasing it soon???
