If you dont have email you can go to hotmail.com and create a hotmail account. I have just started working on this kit and it will widen the front 3" on each side for a total of 6" in the front. This kit will be all bolt on and the top shock mount will be relocated so that the z400 shock can be used. I will have this kit ready by the end of the year. I have just started a new job designing cabinets and its hard to squeeze the drawings in for this part and my jobs. Once i get the design done and the drawings it wont take long cause the machine shop insured me it wouldnt take over an hour to cut the parts out on a cnc mill. Also tell me how much power the dmc exhaust added to your z250? I have read it was 4.5 hp, did it come with a dyno sheet that said how much it added? let me know if you have more questions.

 

if its anything like the 250ex kit that widens it 6 inches on eBay...then i dont see how it could handle well at all...The a arms are so far apart that the bump steer would have to be just plain crazy...but i guess its worth a try.

Hey, I have all the drawings complete and they are at a machine shop right now building the first set. It will probably be after the first of the year before i sell anything cause i will need to try everything out to make sure that the kit will hold up and how well it performs. I will post a pick on here when i get the first set put on my quad. I hope that will tide you over till i get some made for resale. It has been a long process because i had to find a machine shop that would give me a reasonable price and the kit was kinda hard to design. Im not sure that i will make it a complete six inch widening kit. The first one i am making is only for four inches. It will still allow you to put the z400 shocks on there but it just wont be six inches wider. If want one that will widen it six inches i can make it happen i just need to know what everyone would like. Let Me Know.

 

What about the rear? Is it going to lower the quad at all? I've tried to get a lowering kit, but nobody makes them. I e-mailed CRJ Performance and they don't have anything for the Z250.

 

The back i will be making spacers for and a kit to put the z400 rear shock on. It is just taking me a while to work this project in around my job. Im a mechanical drafter at a factory and i work long hours sometimes 14 hours a day so the weekends is the only time i have to work on this project. About the lowering kits, i will prbably have some of them made to. But it goin to be a while before i can get everything ready for resale.
