lt250r or 450r
i plan on racing this coming year and thought of selling LT at the end of the summer and getting a 450r but i fist plan on dumping a crap load more money into my LT before selling
I hope to get at least 3G' s for it after the summer . i was also wondering how much you guys think a used '04 450r would be after this year or when the z450 comes out . ive seen a few new ones go for 5200 and 5400 . but hope they'll go down after this summer.

if its in good shape, you could very well get 3 for it without spending a fortune. good quadracers are getting hard to find.

well i guess the more money i put into it than the more i can get out of it . plus im not paying full for anything my sponsor makes me pay like half of anything for example WORKS shocks w/ piggyback rezzis $750 im paying $300 even including shipping. so twenty how much ya think them 450r's will go for.

You won't get out of it what you put into a quad unless you picked up the quad for dirt cheap and it is cherry when it's done, but even then there are limits. There are guys who've dumped $20K into race quads and they are selling them for $10-11K, even with all the good stuff on them. See what you can get out of yours, then sell it and save up a couple grand to buy a used 450R if that's what you really want. I would say that 450R's are going to stay around the same price.

WARINING, do not dump money in a quad you are going to sell. Unless it is for cosmetics to make it look clean, you are going to lose 50% or probably more of your money. Plus most people doesn't want to buy something that has been modded a lot anyway. Just clean it up and sell it.
As for pricing on a R, you are going to have to research yourself in your area, and learn how to bargain.

dont worry iwas only getting plastics , pipe, seat cover, shox, axel, port work and other stuff
but like i said i pay about half of what you guys are paying Full paul turnes $ 300 my racer quoate is 195 w/ shipping so im not wooried about spending to much
i just want to make sure that i will get alot out of
some one already told me that there are people out there that are lookin for LT's and really dont care how much they r
really i need like 3500 and ive already been offered 1k and a nasty CRX that i could sell for like 4k
plus im also saving for the 450r and dont expect to sell my 250r and have exactly the amount to get the 450r and i have seen a few 450r's go for 4500 - 5000 in northern NY and still would accept more quotes on the 450r from you guys
