Need Help Reading spark plug
#1
I am getting my quadzilla back together. When I bought it, the guy said that it had been sitting for about a year so it needed the carb rebuilt to get it running. He was wrong so after a new top end(.100 over weisco piston), carbon fiber reeds and a pwk 38mm carb, I am ready to get this thing going. I need some info on getting the carb set right. The quad is stock with the exception of what I have listed and it also has a DG pipe, I think. I'm not sure where to start with in the jet size and the needle setting of the carb. Forgive me if my terminology is not correct. I also need to know the best way to read the plug to check my settings. I am not new to working on motors, just new to working on 2-strokes. Thanks for any help.
P.S. I live in Houston, Texas which I beleive is pretty close to see level.
