Default Tightwad's (me) Stage 1 Kit for the Eiger

Bought the K&N ($45) and three jets from Suzuki ($8). Stuck a washer on the needle for the spacing and wound up using their 135 main jet. Don't own a dyno and have no faith in butt dyno's, but it definitely pulls a lot better. Haven't moved up to the 140 yet, but I really like how the plug looks now so I probably wont.
Has anyone else gone the "do it yourself" route, and what kind of success/problems did you run into?
