Default help me fix my rm80

hi guys my 01 suzuki rm80 isnt running. Before it died it was makin a rattling noise n i thought i blew the piston r somethin but it started up after but it wont stay runnin it almost just bogs out. I have changed the spark plug cleaned the carb cleaned the airfilter ( I no that had nothin to do with it ) checked the compression which wasnt rely to good but not rely too bad so i dont think its it if u guys got any thoughts it would help thanks.

how long will it run for before it dies?

Does it get really hot?

Oh and to post your own pics just resize them so they are smaller than 750 pixels by 750 pixels.

hmm it runs for about 20 seconds but i have the throttle pinned and its extremely hard to kick it over it doesnt seem to be hot after. Also thanks for tellin me how to put the pictures in all do that as soon as i get my camera bac

sounds like a bad air leak of some sorts. Short of running a leak down test you won't be sure but it could be minor or major.

Minor: air leak around readcage/intake boot, main crank seals are blown (these will generally stay running but very poorly)

Major: bad lower connecting rod end that put a hole in your cases, crack in cases. the rattling may have been the rod, check your transmission oil for a STRONG smell of gas.

I am assuming you have good spark and all electrical parts are functioning. I hope its not your cases, thats what happened to my kx.
