Default Z400 Skid Plate

I would like to buy a swingarm skid plate. I want it to also cover the shock linkage and everything else on the swingarm. I was wondering about some companies that sell some and places to buy them cheap.

Try pro armor skids. I have the full center, swingarm, and shock mount skids for my Z and they hold up very well. To find best price, just do a yahoo search and comparison shop. You will lose a little rear end groung clearance with most skids, so I changed my rear tires to 20X11-9 RAZR 2's and have had no problems since. I would also get the full center skids to protect the oil lines coming from the oil tank-stock there is nothing to prevent a stick or something from jamming in there and ruining your day.

I have the DG fat series full skidplate and the fat series swingarm plate and so far they work very well. I do not yet have the shock mount skidplate but i should soon. The only problem iv had so far is the swingarm bolts rattled loose, so i loctited them back in and so far so good. All of the swingarm skidplates i have seen do not cover the shock mount too.

Have any of you guys heard of Quadboss armor. I saw they sell a swingarm skid plate but I don't know anything about them.

I have run DG Baja series on a bunch of bikes for a bunch of years. They are great! They DO also cover that linkage. It is called the "rocker guard". (http://www.dgperf.com/)

I'd say go with PRM...very very hardcore...itll cover the linkage for you too....i got mine about a month or two ago and i love it, I don't think this thing could ever bend. My friend has had the same one on his YZF for almost 6 months now and has hit some stuff pretty good. No bends or anything in his either. I bought mine from PRM-ATV.com for about 100 bucks i think. I'm not too sure how that compares to any of the other brands out there, but i haven't seen too many that cover the shock linkage too, so for me, PRM was the way to go

What do you think is the best company is for swingarm skid plates? I heard that Pro Armor and PRM are the best but I would like your guy's opinions.
